The Ford government has announced $3.8 million to support training in the local manufacturing and automotive sectors.

The announcement was made Friday at Conestoga College by area MPPs, including Amy Fee, who represents Kitchener South-Hespeler.

“The investments announced today will support the skilled trades labour shortage, and benefit women working in skilled trades, mid-career workers and summer students.” Fee said in a release.
