Manufacturing Day 2014 – October 3rd

MFG DAY is a North American event that addresses common misperceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a coordinated effort, what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t. By working together during and after MFG DAY, manufacturers will begin to address the skilled labor shortage they face, connect with future generations, take charge of the public image of manufacturing, and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the whole industry.

Through the Business and Education Partnership in Waterloo Region (BEP) and the Career Education Council in Guelph, Wellington and Dufferin (CEC), high school students will have an opportunity to participate in MF

GDAY 2014 through tours, workshops and information sessions.

If you would like to get the students from your high school involved, contact either the BEP or CEC and “get on board the bus!
