EMC Purchasing Co-op Announces 3 new Lucrative Programs

EMC Purchasing Co-op is excited to announce the successful negotiation of three valuable new program categories to compliment their existing line-up of MRO, General Sign Inputs and Graphics Medium categories.

The three new categories are Metals, Industrial Gases & Accessories, and Courier Services.

• Metals – Salit Steel and Berg Steel Corporation are the new Preferred suppliers in this category. While offering different product lines, both companies offer very competitive invoice pricing, leveraged by the co-op’s purchasing volume. Furthermore both suppliers offer monthly discounts and earnable year end rebates.
• Industrial Gases & Accessories – The Co-op believes this program with Preferred Supplier Praxair, could be our most lucrative to date. It uses the same model as the MRO program, offering a generous monthly discount off the best “last price paid”. In addition it offers significant, earnable year end rebates.
• Courier Services – This program with Preferred Supplier Canpar will be very rewarding for all members requiring Canadian ground courier services. In conjunction with this program, the Co-op has secured the services of courier analystCTSG Ltd. It will review each member’s current courier costs and identify what savings the new program offers. TSG is also positioned to provide exceptional savings on international courier services. 

While each program will stand on its own as an important contribution to the Co-op member’s bottom line, the bundling of several of these programs will be particularly impacting on several manufacturing disciplines.

• Metal Fabrication – The combination of MRO, Metals, Gases and courier will be a powerful package to drive member savings.
• Sign Manufacturing – General Sign Inputs, Graphics Medium, Courier, Metals, MRO and Gases will all add profit for our member’s bottom line in this sector.
• Food Processing – Gases, MRO and Courier will be valuable additions for this sector’s profitability.

We will be contacting those EMC Members who previously expressed an interest in joining the Purchasing Co-op but were waiting until a more proven ROI existed.
